I can't call this image beautiful in the standard sense; really it's quite sad and raw, but that is what makes it impressive.

This picture is beautiful in a different way, a more "real" way. It captures the despair and loneliness of the "underbelly" of society. Even the setting itself is provocative; the image of money and industrial progress (a trainyard) is underscored by the apparent poverty and hopelessness of it's lone resident. Excellent photo.

I hope you don't mind that I waxed a little "artsy"
